Our story

Northwoods PROJECT.mp4
We are a proud family-owned and operated company dedicated to renaturalizing Maine’s native landscapes with integrity and creative craftsmanship. Rooted at our historic quarry in Penobscot, we harvest our own Noah Grey Granite and transform it into timeless stonework that honors the natural beauty of coastal Maine.

What we do: we help design and build sustainable, site‑specific landscapes—stone walls, patios, steps, and sea walls—that balance beauty, function, and longevity. Every project blends thoughtful design, native planting, and  craftsmanship to create outdoor spaces that feel as though they have existed for generations..

How we work: we partner directly with homeowners, and architects to translate ideas into durable reality. From initial concept to final installation, we prioritize clear communication, careful site assessment, and meticulous execution. Our team is invested in the craft as much as the outcome—hand-selecting stone from our quarry and applying time‑tested techniques to ensure results that age gracefully.

What sets us apart:  Local Stone sourcing, deep local knowledge and passion of Maine’s coast and ecology, and an emphasis on sustainable, low‑maintenance solutions. We’re creative problem-solvers who respect natural context and local regulations, delivering landscapes that help enhance property value and beauty while standing the test of time.

Shoreline Restoration

As certified shoreline restoration specialists, we protect and enhance sea and lake frontage using environmentally sensitive, proven methods. Our work stabilizes banks, reduces erosion, restores native vegetation, and improves water quality—resulting in lasting property value, natural beauty, and resilient shorelines for future generations.
